I have two framed paintings from the store... any interests?

I remember that the old Thom McAn building off of I-290 used to have a very similar-looking Christmas tree that they'd put up for the holidays. We moved to Shrewsbury in 1973, right around the time Denhoms went out of business - and I remember admiring the tree aswe'd pass it on our way to and from Worcester. Could the Thom McAn "tree" have been one of the originals from Denholms?

I cant thank you all enough for your comments, memories, and photo's. Truly wonderful!!! I love seeing the old Denholms logo being used again. I too remember the tree on the former Thom McAnn building and do believe it was the same one from Denholms. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any images of it to confirm...
A wonderful shot!!!! I love these windows of old....nothing today seems as charming at all!!Merry Xmas to Denholm's from all the old stores of Boston!!!!!!!!Charles:-)http://shoppingdaysinretroboston.blogspot.com/
Chris, With the return of the holidays, I have to tell you again how happy I am that you founded this site. It brings back so many happy memories, especially now at this time of year. The lights, strung in the form of a Christmas tree on the front of Denholm's were awesome. So beautiful. Merry Christmas to all, especially to Chris and fans of this site.
