My Christmas card to all of you

Here are a few Photo's that were taken in December of 1960.
I got these images when I was working in the Denholm building earlier this year by a very kind woman named Becky.  Her father in law had taken them, and they were originally in slide format.  These are the only color images that I have of the tree of lights.  It was so  reminds me of the exterior of Macy's New York with their light tree on the facade.  I hope you enjoy my card to all of you!  Thank you for all of your kind words and memories over the past year.  It is greatly appreciated.

  1. They're gorgeous! Kinda makes you wish the exodus to suburbia didn't lead to the rise of suburban shopping malls - and those monotonous national department store chains that inhabit them.

  2. This is wonderful. I remember those Christmas decorations well. I miss the old Main St. of Worcester and all it's hustle and bustle.

  3. Chris, What happy memories these pictures conjure. It always thrilled my brother and me to see the brilliantly lit tree.

Thank you for sharing these pictures. David

  4. What a wonderful memories you have shared in here.
