Over 1,300 Denholms books sold!

I cannot thank everyone enough for buying the Denholms book.  The two signings have been amazing, and it was such a pleasure to be able to speak with everyone in person and relive their days at Denholms.  I am constantly amazed how the store has lived on in peoples hearts for all of these years.  If you would still like to purchase a book, they are available at The Worcester Historical Museum as well as the Tatnuck Booksellers, as well as through the Historypress.net

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, and warm wishes for the New Year!

  3. Hi, I bought this wonderful book at B&N-Millbury, as a Xmas present to myself. I am 56, but have wonderful memories of my first pair of gold pierced hoop earrings, coming down the escalator, like a fashion model! Thanks for bringing the memories of the elevator and Xmas in the city back! Will you have any more talks? Also, can we go in to Denholm's building? (Don't know if I should...)Lora from Sturbridge, MA

  4. Hi Lora! Thank you so much for buying the Denholms book. I am so glad it brought back nice memories for you. We are planning on having more talks, and are in discussions to do an event at the Worcester library as well as signings at some local Barnes and Noble store. I will keep everything posted on the blog for anyone who wants to attend. The Denholms building is open to the public, but it looks very different from what you remember. The building is in a need of an update, since it's present renovation in 1983, but the beautiful escalators are still there!!!
All my best to you and thank you again for posting on the blog.
