With summer here, please excuse my absence from posting.  Lately Pat Wolf and myself have been doing more lectures and book signings which have eaten up a lot of free time.   I am also working on a line of Denholms related products which will be launching in the fall.  Due to an overwhelming response, we have decided to sell a line of  Denholms calendars, mugs, totes, Christmas ornaments and note cards.  If anyone has any other suggestions on products that you feel would be appropriate please let me know!

The blog will also be getting a new look by the end of the summer with a link to a new website which the merchandise will be sold on.
Until then I look forward to anyone's memories or suggestions.  please feel free to email me at

  1. Chris:
This is exciting news! Looking forward to the merchandise! Still haven't forgotten about your speaking at the Worcester Club!

    1. Thanks Kathy! I cant wait to do an event with you. Happy Summer!!!

  2. Notecards are great...I picture photos of the windows. Or an adorable graphic. I'll take two boxes!

    1. Great! I will be letting people have options on various images or the old logo's.
Thanks for posting Emily. Have a great Summer!!!

  3. Hi,
Just heard about your book from Kathy of "Two Sisters Cookbook". I am 64 years old and remember Denholms so well. My maternal grandmother used to take me to Easton's for lunch and then shopping at Denholm's. I loved the windows and always wished I was a "Denholms girl" on the Capezio wall.
On a side note, my paternal grandfather, Prisco Zona, after his retirement, was a janitor there during the great Denholms days.

  4. Donna, thank you so much for writing in. Kathy is such an amazing person, and I thank her for telling you about the book. I am sure it would bring back a lot of wonderful memories for you, especially since your grandfather worked there!
    All my best to you.
Here is a link in case you are interested. just copy and past it in your browser.

  5. Chris - Speaking as one who wears a lot of hats, I think a "Denholms" hatbox would be a fantastic idea!

I also this reproductions of the old Denolms gift boxes in a heavier cardboard stock and in various sizes would work well as desk organizers, photo storage boxes, keepsake boxes, etc.

    1. That is a great idea! I would also love to do gift boxes for the holidays and special occasions. Thank you!
