Here is a picture of a Denholms bag that was sent to me by LB Worm. It shows the various locations and facades of the building. I cannot thank you enough, I love it!
Hello, Chris . . . it's Bruce from the "Department Store Museum." Back from my vacation, I have finally put up a Denholms exhibit. Please check it out, and let me know if you approve.
I will include the Denholms bag before too long, and I am thinking that I'll make some kind of "Christmas in a Department Store" exhibit for the holidays (ads, pictures, facts, etc.) and I will surely use the picture of Denholms' Christmas tree as part of it.
In fact, that tree is quite similar to the one applied to the Woodward Avenue facade of Hudson's here in Detroit . . . when we were kids, our parents would take us downtown after Thanksgiving dinner calmed down at my Aunt Stella's place, to see the lights.
Again, let me thank you for being so generous with your material, and allowing me to use it in my site.
